BIOGRAPHY

Jessica Carroll is a London-based actress, singer and voiceover artist who trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA).

 

Born in to an acting family, Jessica has always felt most at home on the stage and has played both Westend and fringe venues in London. Career highlights include working with award-winning playwright Elizabeth Kuti to help create both the role of Mab in the world premieré of the critically accialmed Fishskin Trousers and Ann in The Broken Token, which she had the pleasure of venturing to Los Angeles with. Jessica has also been lucky enough to work with Ian Rickson on his Masterclass at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in which she played Nina in The Seagull, performed alongside Penelope Keith in Life Begins at Crawley for BBC Radio 4 and she was part of the Royal Court Gala directed by Lyndsey Turner. 

 

It was at LAMDA, when asked to represent the school in the Carleton Hobbs BBC Radio Drama Competition, that Jessica realised she could make a career using her voice. She has been working in the voiceover world for 8 years building strong relationships with clients such as the BBC, ITV, RTÉ, Channel 4, HBO, Orange, Google, Disney, Nickelodeon, T-mobile, Vodafone. Jessica has done everything from ADR work for Game of Thrones, Audio-description for RTÉ's Love/Hate, been in several radio plays for the BBC, played various leads in a number of videogames including BAFTA-winning Divinity: Original Sin 2 and has done countless commercials for clients such as Mugler, Google, Nature Valley, President Cheese, Invisalign, Vaseline, Photobox, Palmers Cocoa Butter, Glitter Bingo... 

 

Jessica is also a classically trained soprano with a warm mezzo sound to her big range. She has sung in musicals, soul and jazz bands and in many plays.
